If you’d like to see how your child’s team is doing, go to the Section site.

Just enter in your child’s team’s division.

1st and 2nd grade to start Dec. 5th

3rd-8th grade divisions are now FULL for the 2009-10 season.

Please complete the  wait list sheet only if you’ve been directed by a Player Agent OR if you are a 7th or 8th grade boy.

Note: Effective for this coming season, Menlo Park is now part of the Redwood chapter territory.  Any Menlo Park players who previously played in Palo Alto are eligible to continue to play in Palo Alto if they wish.  All new players should register at Redwood.

Player registration will by by the following priority:

1. Children of board members
2. Children of Head Coaches
3. By registration date

Congratulations to the 8th grade boys All-Net team who finished 2nd in the Clubsport division at NJB All-Net nationals, coming up just short in overtime in the championship game.

Further congratulations to the 5th grade boys All-Net team who finished 3rd in the Clubsport division.

Palo Alto is fortunate to have two high-schools with great basketball traditions.  Both Gunn and PALY head varsity coaches are running camps this summer and look forward developing your child’s basketball skills.  (click do download flier)

Congratulations to PAD2B01 (Dees / Drazovich) the Silicon Valley NJB Division 2 full-court champions.

Congratulations to PAD3B12 [Subramanian], who won the Silicon Valley championship for the D3 Boys Full court division with a 39-34 victory over Coyote Creek.

Congratulations to PAD3G01 (Stuart/Cohen), the Silicon Valley NJB Full Court division runner up.

Congratulations to PAD3B08 [McGraw], the North area Hot-Shot Champions & the Silicon Valley Section Runner up.

Congratulations to the 8th Grade boys (Peters) and to the 5th Grade boys (Morgan) who will be playing for the Silicon Valley championships on March 15 at Valley Christian High School.  Both teams have already earned an automatic birth to the 2009 National NJB All-net tournament in Anaheim.  The 6th Grade girls (Basa) are still in the hunt and can earn a spot in the National tournament with a win on Saturday March 14, in the 3rd place game at Valley Christian.

D2 Full Court North Area Champions

Congratulations to the teams of DEES/DRAZ (D2 boys full-court, pictured), McGraw & Murthy (D3 Hot shots), Subramanian & DeLapa (D3 boys full court) for winning the North Area Championships.   All three of the teams, along with Stuart & Cohen (D3 girls full-court) will compete on March 8 for the Silicon Valley Championship.
